5 on Friday

I'm back this week for another edition of five on Friday.  I skipped out last week because I didn't really have anything interesting to share.  I think I've come up with a few things from my Instagram that I haven't already blogged about.  Enjoy!

I always forget about chocolate covered strawberries.  They are SO easy and SO good.  I made some Saturday evening and finished them all before bedtime!

Emmy was given this cute dress as a baby and she wore it last year in Disney World with the cutest little matching diaper cover.  It's been hanging in her closet ever since.  This Sunday is was cool and rainy so I pulled out a pair of black leggings so we could get some use out of it as a shirt.  I thought she looked so stinkin' cute!

It was still rainy on Monday so I used the morning for some organizing.  Of course we had to go out in the rain to get some things for organizing, but still.  I had been putting Emmy's shoes in a drawer in her dresser, but she just had too many.  Bryce has so many boxes of clothes and such in his closet for the next season that it was hard to find room for shoes.  I bought these over the door organizers and they are amazing.  I'm not sure why it took me this long to get some of these.

Last year the chalkboard frames were all the rage for the first day of school pictures.  I couldn't find one locally already made so I just hand wrote a little sign for Bryce on computer paper.  BORING!!  I'm not a DIYer but I decided to try my hand at my own frame.  It was super simple and it turned out great.  I'm not thrilled with how the chalk erases, but it will work for a picture twice a year!

We picked another pumpkin yesterday morning.  We have about three more to pick eventually.  I'm still not convinced we'll actually have any for the fall, but it's been fun watching these random pumpkins pop up in the yard and grow!

Happy Friday.

I love chocolate and strawberries! Most of the time I'm impatient and just melt chocolate and dip them right in and eat them. The mix of cold strawberry and hot chocolate is amazing! And what a great way to organize those little shoes :) they're so hard to keep track of!

Pumpkins in your own yard, I'm totally jealous! I'm going to have to steal the itty bitty's shoe idea. I have my little ones in a bin and it takes forever trying to find matches!

Those chocolate covered strawberries look amazing!

We organize our kid's shoes with those organizers too. They make so much sense and are SO cheap.
