We had a fun and festive week leading up to Christmas break.
Monday
Tuesday
Tuesday was Emmy's play, Christmas at the OK Corral. Nana came to the morning performance and the rest of the family came in the evening.
Wednesday was tacky sweater day at school. Notice Emmy got a haircut on Tuesday afternoon.
Thursday
This was Emmy's party day. I planned some pretty fun things for the class. They played Bingo, had a sweet treat, made a bell ornament craft and did fun minute to win it games.
My team had a cookie exchange during our lunch at the same time as Emmy's party but I was able to sneak away for a minute to get some yummies!
Friday was pajama day and Bryce's party day.
His teacher kept it low key with a pizza lunch, a movie and snacks. I had fun planning a candy bar and a fun popcorn treat!
We went to Kings Dominion for Winterfest after school and boy was it cold.
We got there when they opened at 4 with plans to ride all the rides while it was light and then enjoy the lights once it was dark. Everyone was pretty much ready to go by the time it got dark.
Bryce was able to ride one of the roller coasters they had going (the other was closed due to cold temperatures) and Emmy rode a few things but said it was too cold to ride much!
We stayed long enough for the grand illumination and then came home!
It's almost Christmas!
