Today was the Mechanicsville Christmas parade. Our house is on the parade route so we have embraced the chaos and seem to up our outfit game each year.
We love to celebrate this day with our neighbors. The Belcastros always debut their homemade egg nog at the parade! We live a few houses down from everyone else so we usually try to visit before and after the parade so we can still visit with guests who come and watch at our house.

Some of Emmy's school friends were watching the parade at our neighbor's house but they stopped to say hi on their way.

The parade always ends with Santa on the fire truck. He'll be around on the fire truck again one night soon!
