After days of rain, it finally stopped and we were able to enjoy 4th of July outside. We headed to the pool with my parents in the morning. Emmy looked so cute in her new bathing suit!
Bryce couldn't wait to show Jason how much he improved in the water while he was gone. He even got dive sticks off the bottom of the pool.

After hamburgers at my parents' house, we went over to Bryce's friend Thomas' house to do some fireworks.
It's hard work getting those party poppers to pop!
Apparently I got brave and let Emmy do a sparkler. She didn't get hurt, but probably not one of my better ideas!
Bryce wore his headphones all night. Even for sparklers!

We had a wonderful day celebrating the holiday with family and friends!

The picture of the popper and Bryce is priceless!!! So glad you guys came over and did fireworks with us--the kids are STILL talking about it :). Love the new suit Emmy!!
