quarantine week 13 - hello summer

This would have been our last week of school had we been in the building.  This week ended up being a wrap up week for learning at home.  No work was due but the teachers checked in some.  We stayed at home this week and didn't have any big plans.

Emmy is winning the sunflower competition!

We celebrated Bryce and the end of elementary school on Wednesday.  Emmy had one last call with her class on Thursday which would have been the last day of school.

The kids are enjoying the pool and Bryce's jousting set he got for graduation.
Saturday was a beautiful day.  Bryce had a scrimmage in the morning and then we drove to New Kent for lunch and then went to a local peach orchard.

Today was Bryce's first tournament since sports were halted due to corona.  Bryce requested donuts for breakfast.  Jason got an apple fritter that was ginormous and wanted a picture to capture its size!

We had to get to the field at 10:15 for our 11:00 game.  We won that game 17-1 and then had to wait until 3:00 for our next game.  The boys won the second game which put them in the championship game.  Emmy was a good sport watching and hanging out all day.

The boys won the championship game!  What a great way to restart the season after pushing pause for a while.

We are officially on summer break!  The kids have baseball and gymnastics to keep them busy and we have a beach trip planned at the end of the month, but other than that, I have no idea what our summer will look like.  Different for sure!
