Our little soccer player!
Today was the last day of soccer for the season. I don't think Bryce is going to be a future soccer player. He enjoyed running up and down the field after the ball with the other players, but he had no intention of actually ever touching the ball. The coaches would even set up the ball so he would be sure to have a shot at it and he still shied away. He might get his sport skills/noncompetitiveness (is that a word) from me!
If you know Bryce, he is always falling down and getting hurt in the process. At Chase's birthday party on Friday, he managed to get a black eye, a scratch on his nose, and he hurt his thumb. Soccer today was no different. I never saw anything happen, but he came crying to me that he hurt his heel. Coach B tried to make it better, but I think he was too tired (the game was in the middle of nap time).
Here he is practicing passing the ball with Chase. This was about the only time he ever touched the ball!
Action shot! Looks like he knows what he's doing!
Team huddle at the end of the game.
The team holds hands at the end of the game and they bow, clap, and wave.
Kelly ordered the team picture. Their faces are just priceless. I guess Bryce was sporting his "tough boy" face that day.
He managed to pull out a smile for his individual picture. You can see he had a black eye that day too!
