Emmy girl is two months old today!

Weight - 10 pounds 5 ounces (45th percentile)

Height/Length - 22 1/8 inches (50th percentile)

Head - 14 7/8 inches (30th percentile)

• You wear 0-3 month clothes
• You wear size 1 diapers
• You eat every 3 hours during the day
• I usually feed you between 9-10 at night and then put you to bed.  You had been waking up between 2:45-3:45 to eat, but the past few days you have been getting up after 5!  You go right back down after you eat and get up between 7-8.
• You are full of smiles.  You smile mostly when you are laying in your bed in the morning or on your changing table.
• You love the activity mat and any other chair/swing with hanging toys.
• You like to suck on your hand and you're trying to find your thumb. 
• A pacifier will soothe you when you are upset, but you never need one during the night!
• Your neck is getting a little stronger with some head control, but you hate tummy time so we don't practice as much as we should.
• You still like to be swaddled at night.  I thought you were growing out of it last month, but you still love it.
• You are awake for long periods during the day and are quite content just looking around.
• You still spit up a TON after eating, but you're still gaining weight like a champ so the doctor isn't concerned.
• Your baby acne and rash that came along with it are gone and I love to look at your beautiful face and clear skin!
• Your daddy always said our kids would have brown eyes, but you may prove him wrong!  He really thinks you are going to have blue eyes like me.
