We have fallen into more of a summer routine this week. Emmy's gym practices moved to the mornings and no weekends. She went to the gym on Monday morning and Bryce went golfing with a friend. We all enjoyed the 4th of July holiday on Tuesday. Bryce went to a local neighborhood pool with his buddies and the rest of us went to our pool. They had fun events planned throughout the day which provided good entertainment.
Ice cream sundaes and successfully wining a soda in the soda grab with no hands were highlights.
We grilled smash burgers on Jason's new grill and enjoyed patriotic ice cream sandwiches for dessert before heading to a friend's house for fireworks.
This guy isn't in many pictures anymore since he spends more time away from us than with us.

We hit the ground running on Wednesday with our summer routine. Since Emmy is at the gym 4 mornings a week, we thought it would be good to get Bryce a job to keep him busy while she's gone. He reported to his first day of work at the family business on Wednesday. He will work 4 hours a day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He is definitely going to learn hard work and the value of a dollar!
Thursday and today were a repeat and both kids hung out with friends after gym and work today.
Tomorrow we're off to the beach for week 4 of summer vacation!
